Crime and Policing

A quote from Boris Johnson speaking in Oldham on November 2019: "20,000 more police are operating on our streets to fight crime" This is a lie. Under the Conservatives, the number of police officers in England and Wales fell by 20,600 between March 2010 and March 2019. The Conservatives and housing: The tories pledged to build 22,000 starter homes for first time buyers in their 2015 election manifesto. Zero homes have been built.

NHS

Both Boris Johnson and Matt Hanock (Health Secretary) repeat the lie that the Tories are building 40 new hospitals. Fact: The Tories will upgrade 6 hospitals by 2025. Don't vote for a pary of liars, don't vote Conservative. The Conservatives and the NHS. A quote from Boris Johnson: "40 new hospitals we're going to be doing across the country". This is a lie. The Tories will upgrade 6 hospitals by 2025. If you care about the NHS, don't vote Conservative. The Conservatives and the NHS: under the conservatives, the NHS is seeing the first sustained fall in GP numbers in the UK for 50 years. The number of GPs per 100,000 people has fallen from nearly 65 in 2014 to 60 in 2018. The last time numbers fell like this was in the late 1960s The Conservatives and the NHS. BBC news reports on 14 November: Hospital performance in England is at its worst level on record. 4.42 million patients on NHS waiting lists at the end of September 2019, the highest number ever. Targets for cancer, hospital care and A&E have been missed for over three years. Delays for hospital care and in A&E have hit their highest levels since targets were introduced. The Conservatives and the NHS. A quote from Dominic Cummings, special advisor to Boris Johnson: "I know a lot of Tory MPs, the public is basically correct - the Tories do not care about the NHS". If you care about the NHS, don't vote Conservative. The Conservatives and the NHS. A quote from John Major, former Conservative Prime Minister from June 2016: "The concept that the people running the Brexit campaign would care for the National Health Service is a rather odd one. I seem to remember Michael Gove wanting to privatise it. Boris Johnson wanted to charge people for using it. And Iain Duncan Smith wanted a social insurance system. The NHS is about as safe with them as a pet hamster would be with a hungry python."

Brexit

The Conservatives and Brexit. Boris Johnson's brexit deal will leave the UK £70 billion worse than if it had remained in the EU. Source: National Institute of Economic and Social Research, October 2019 The Conservatives and Brexit. A quote from Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla:"Brexit made it too risky to put a gigafactory in he UK." Berlin will be location of a new high-tech gigafactory and design centre creating thousands of new jobs. Britain loses out. Don't vote Conservative.
